Looking to get the most out of your G8x M3/M4? Fabspeed has the answer with our Turbo Back Exhaust Package. Starting with our Sport Cat Downpipes that feature high quality HJS catalytic converters. This guarantees the most exhaust flow, reliability, and sound. Then, we use our unique intermediate X-Pipe that features two X-Pipes for proper exhaust scavenging and sound balance. And finally our Valvetronic exhaust, which features Helical Valves from the U.K. that are plug and play with the factory valve controllers. This system is your ticket to bolt on sound and performance without any loss of functionality or CEL’s (Check engine lights).
SOUND:
Treat your ears to that iconic BMW straight six symphony! You’ll no longer have to suffer the anemic OEM sound that BMW blighted this model with. The whole tone of the exhaust changes, with a throaty note that sounds every bit of the 500 HP you have on tap. In the loudest M setting, the exhaust is deep and powerful with very loud and prominent overrun pops and burbles. You’ll actually hear the turbos spool when letting off the throttle. With the car in comfort mode, things are much more tame. No pops/burbles and drone is nowhere to be found. In cabin conversations are just as easy as they were with the stock exhaust system.
POWER:
Our full Turbo Back Exhaust Package really frees up exhaust flow on the G8x. On our in-house DynoJet, we saw max gains of 47 ft/lbs of TQ at 3,300 RPM and 41 WHP at 6,500 RPM. That’s 47 crank HP! Take a look at our dyno graph and you can see that power is gained throughout the entire power band.
